Whew!! I just moved from East Coast to
West Coast...many reasons for the move...the most important are family, friends
and a new/better job in same industry...
Living now in Venice, CA a city/town that offers the 'grit' of Philly city-life
in the wonderful coastal climate of LA. Nothing spectacular to report just
happy to be closer to the many in the class of '84.
I have already learned to change lanes as most in CA, avoid rush hour traffic,
applaud sunsets, and I'm brushing up on the surf-lingo. We'll see how it goes,
but it sure feels good now.
Drop a line if you're living in the area....I'm interested in learning about
others' favorite spots and hide-aways.

Whew! What a party! Kudos to organizers
and contributors.
I thought it is appropriate to set the record straight as I may have embellished
(jokingly so) my hobbies, accomplishments and milestones throughout the course
of the reunion weekend.
Hobbies: Well, I like entertaining and enjoy being entertained. This means
that I frequently have/go to dinner parties with friends and new acquaintances.
I like seeing live music of all varieties, especially in smaller venues and up
close.
I regularly travel across US and Europe for work (Accomplishment: I like what I
do for my paycheck), and try to arrange my travels such that I have time to meet
friends over a weekend or a weeknight dinner.
I make it to Brazil about every 18 months and keep in touch with the remaining
family living there. Many asked about Marcelo. I do know he is a proud father
and successful in his career, however, I do not keep in close contact with him
so I cannot elaborate - it is a long story.
Another hobby is learning something new. I have learned to skull (crew rowing),
salsa, and now I am setting my sights on squash. I have a love for public
transportation, (stemming from Tico and Route 22) and opt for a cab, train, or
bus ride before driving or renting a car.
Milestone/marital status: I have yet to partake in the sacrament of marriage,
thus I remain happily single - and straight.
FYI - It is funny, but I discovered throughout the course of the weekend that if
I did not mention the 'straight' comment, many classmates would smile knowingly
and the topic of conversation would change dramatically. However, if I
mentioned 'straight' many would chuckle and ask why? To which I replied that I
have considered the sacrament, but I have not yet made it to the altar.
On this note, and as a personal favor to me especially since you have read this
far; please click off some Rosary beads/pray that, perhaps, just maybe, "Ms.
Right" (rather than "Ms. Right now"), and I cross paths.
If/when this does occur, I will mange the situation and who knows, perhaps I
will be blessed with a loving spouse much like the spouses that attended our '84
reunion party. If not, no worries, I'll still be smiling at the 25 year
reunion. Cheers!
