After graduating from the Harvard of Southern Arizona, I moved to the Bay Area to pursue a career in banking and finance. It took me 10 years and an MBA to figure out that the grade of "C" in Scholander's college algebra was a hint that I had no business doing anything with numbers or calculations. Reflecting on that class, I realize I spent more time drawing scathing pictures of homo-erotic cartoons with Brian Carlin. Brian ratted me out and I spent one afternoon discussing my "intrigue" with "man sex" with Mr. Grossetta (student counselor). Little did I know that the quadratic equation didn't have anything to do with Mr. Higgins tied up on all fours being whipped by Fr. LaCasse. Needless to say, I needed to grow up....Well, things haven't changed. Currently, I find myself back in School at the University of California @ Berkeley pursuing a Masters in Social Welfare. (Who said the party is over?) For five years I have worked in the non-profit field as a consultant, counselor and manager and have never been happier. I rarely recall my time at Brophy except in sweaty nightmares and I check my closet to see if Mr. Herd is cooking up some yeastie beasties over a bunson burner. I hope to attend the reunion and look forward to a group hug. God Bless.
